i am so sorry

i feel like such a heel. how can i possibly express how sorry i am for missing my own sisters birthday. yes, i was out of commission and in the hospital but your birthday came and went and i even spoke to you tonight and still i forgot what the date was. this is so totally unexcusable and i cannot express enough how sorry i am to have missed your day. i was in bed sleeping when suddenly i woke up and realized that today is the 20th and i just couldn't go back to sleep until i wrote this. it is too late to call but i feel like such a tool that it couldnt wait. i am so so sorry i forgot but i hope you had a great day none-the-less and i hope you can forgive me. i love you sis and once again i am so sorry. it sucks when your special day comes around and you dont get a call that you should from someone who should. i just hope you will forgive my delay in saying HAPPY BIRTHDAY and i wish all the best for you on your birthday and every day to come.
